10DLC stands for 10-digit long code text messaging. The primary goals of 10DLC compliance are to reduce spam, protect consumers from unwanted messages, and maintain the integrity of SMS marketing. By enforcing regulations for 10DLC numbers, carriers aim to ensure a better experience for both businesses and customers.

Website Form Guidelines

The phone number field should not be required, as this would be considered forced opt-in.
Opt-in language should appear at the bottom of the form such as: "By submitting this form, I consent to receive text notifications from [Company Name]. Msg & data rates may apply. Msg frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out of future messages. Text HELP for support. We will not share mobile information with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes."

10DLC Conditions

My company will not exceed 15,000 messages per month.
Affiliate marketing and data sharing is prohibited under 10DLC guidelines.
High Risk Loans, Indirect Loans and Debt Collection are prohibited under 10DLC guidelines.
Sex, Hate, Alcohol, Firearms, Tobacco and Cannabis is prohibited content under 10DLC guidelines.
