Included in the cost of your business phone system service agreement with Loop Communications is a Call Queue feature that helps your business manage large call volume, allowing callers to wait on the phone for a representative to answer.

A Call Queue is similar to a Ring Group, except that callers will wait and listen to on-hold music/messaging until someone is available to take the call. Audio messaging during wait time can include an announcement that lets the caller know how many callers are ahead of him or her in the queue, and offer an estimated wait time.

The ring patterns you can use for a Call Queue are:

ringall: Ring all available agents until someone answers

leastrecent: Ring agent who was least recently called by this queue

fewestcalls: Ring the agent with the fewest completed calls from this queue

random: Ring random agent

round robin: Round robin with memory (remember where we left off last ring pass)

linear: Rings agents in the order specified every time

Our Call Queue feature helps you cut down on missed calls and voice mails, is customizable for specific caller inquiries, can support all of your departments, and shares specific messages with callers during the brief period while they wait for an answer.
