Included in the cost of your service agreement with Loop Communications is a Voicemail to Email feature that makes life easier for employees that are on the move. Most of our current business phone system customers use this helpful feature, and we encourage new partners to do the same.

If this feature sounds simple, that’s because it is. We set up extensions at your office to have audio (.wav) files of voicemails sent immediately to the phone extension’s corresponding email addresses. When the email comes in, the audio file will be attached, enabling the recipient to listen to the message and respond to the caller. Missing calls because you’re out of the office is a problem you’ll never need to deal with again.

UPDATE (4/12/18): In addition to an audio file being attached to your e-mail, we’ve added a text transcription feature. So, after the voicemail is left, the email will let you either listen to the audio file, or read the call’s transcript. This option helps if you need to forward an excerpt of a message to colleagues, or happen to be in a situation where you can’t listen to audio.

During Loop’s onboarding process with new customers, we can set up any or all phone extensions to use the Voicemail to Email feature. If you’d like to change or add an extension later, you can easily make changes with our User Control Panel portal, or simply ask us to make the adjustment for you. The User Control Panel also allows you to view call histories, download the voicemail audio files, and delete voicemails.
